I bought these to do some tip pruning on a client’s diseased juniper. The pump was difficult to prime and completely stopped working after 8 snips. Unfortunately, I thought they were good to go and threw away the packaging. I should have just paid extra and bought Felco’s version to begin with.

Hello Rhonda, Thank you for the honest feedback, and we are sorry these pruners failed on you mid-job — especially on a paid client project where you need tools you can rely on. A pump that’s hard to prime and quits after just 8 snips isn’t the standard we hold ourselves to.

Update!
Advancing Alternatives promptly shipped me a replacement and it works great. The pump primed easily and continues to work after 25 snips. This is a completely different experience from the first kit.
