Approximately 60% of Curtain Packages we provide are sold
with Manual Operators and 40% are motorized. Both manual and motorized
can be used with ALL styles of Curtain Systems we offer. In addition,
we sell large numbers of both manual and motorized to retrofit existing
Roll-Up Curtain Systems as well as to power vent panels, roof panels, etc. |

|
Manual Operators: We
offer 8 models of hand cranks to open various lengths of curtains and for
various locations. All of them included smooth running wheel sets
including 4 PVC wheels, aluminum bushings and aluminum side plates.
All of the styles that use handbraces can be adjusted on site so the drive
loop can point our or down or 30° & 60°
angles for easier accessibility. |
| |
|
You can select from individual handcrank operators and then
choose which adapter, which length guidepipe, hand brace or drill brace you
want. Also available are complete packages, which include the
handcrank, guidepipe hardware, adapter and a 30" handbrace (if the crank has
a drive loop.) If you aren't sure what style best suits your needs,
call us and we can advise you. |

Electric Operators:
If you wish to automate your Roll-Ups, and if the bottom of your curtain is
less than 18" from the ground, the Tube Motor style is best. It's
slender profile allows rolling down to about 6" from the ground. (Be
sure to disable them when snow is on the ground). We offer 5 different
powered models, 33NM, 40NM, 60NM, 80NM and 100NM. |
|
A 33NM will typically handle 120' long x 6' high opening with
2 layers of poly and using single 1.315 OD roll-bar (16 gauge).
However, various factors can alter that, such as larger diameter roll-bars,
heavier curtain material, etc. If you are unsure of what motor to use,
contact us with the length, height, roll-bar OD, wall thickness of roll-bar
and weight of your fabric (we know the weight of several fabrics), etc., we
will help you determine which operator we recommend to do the job. |
|
NOTE: Curtain Wall Systems with 2 roll-bars
require a lot more power. Motorizing Curtain Walls is easy, but it
might be best that you allow us to recommend the motor. Because the
drive bar or Curtain Wall System does not come near the ground, we normally
do not use Tube Motors, unless we do not have a more compact motor of the
needed power. We can motorize Curtain Wall Systems up to 400' long
with Gear Box Motors in the center of the system (200' of Roll-Bar on each
side of the motor). |
